As the name implies, log charcoal is directly carbonized without crushing, drying, rod forming, a series of reprocessing processes. In the process of charring logs, it is mainly used in the charring furnace, which consists of inner tank and outer furnace. Firstly, the log charcoal furnace is placed on the horizontal ground. The top cover of the furnace should not be tilted. Then the wooden bars with baskets should be put into the furnace. The wooden bars should be inserted into the iron baskets one by one. The tighter the furnace is, the better the effect is. Carbon yield of log charcoal is not as high as that of mechanical fuel rod. If the capacity of log in a furnace is two tons, the finished charcoal after carbonization can reach about 0.8-1.2 tons, because the wood quality of log is different, the output of charcoal will fluctuate.

After the log filling is finished, the ignition can be started from the ignition port under the furnace. A small amount of weeds or sawdust can be used as ignition material. First, a small amount of weeds or sawdust can be put into the reaction tank. After ignition, the lid can be quickly capped to produce a certain concentration of gas. The gas can be sent into the storage tank at the bottom of the carbonization furnace through the pipeline, and then the valve of the storage tank can be slowly opened and ignited. Before ignition, the furnace cover must be tightly closed, and fire-proof asbestos cloth must be added, fire leakage and oxygen intake must not be allowed, logs can be naturally ignited, and then the gas generated by the flue at the back of the carbonization furnace can be converted into ignitable gas through the gasifier system, and the ignition port at the bottom of the carbonization furnace can be opened to draw smoke and smoke. Generally, smoking takes about 3-4 hours, and the furnace can be observed. If there is no black smoke coming out, the smoke pipe on the back can turn off the exhaust fan and enter the self-flaming combustion state. The burning time is 5-8 hours, and the retorting time is about 10-12 hours. After carbonization, the door can be opened for carbon.

In the process of charring, the main thing is to master the temperature and the time of charring. The two points are not well mastered.
